S/P2’s online training is used by more than 175,000 career tech students in over 2,600 career tech programs across the country every year! The students using S/P2 have access to a course that helps them build a professional resume.
Each student has the option of posting their resume to the S/P2 Careers resume database to give them wider access to local, regional, and national businesses that are interested in recruiting them.
Tens of thousands of students have posted their resumes to S/P2 Careers. Use S/P2 Careers to find the next generation of skilled workers for your business.
Yes. When a student posts their resume to S/P2 Careers, that resume is reviewed by our staff prior to being publicly available to employers. If a resume is deemed incomplete, inaccurate, or inappropriate, it is flagged and held until the student provides the necessary updates to their resume. Resumes are not held for spelling or typos.
Our focus with S/P2 Careers is solely on career tech students.
We are working to provide a long-term solution that helps fight the skills gap and worker shortage issues we all face today. That’s why we stick to helping you find and recruit the next generation of talent coming out of career tech programs. Together we can help increase the number of students entering their industry of choice and staying there!
Experienced skilled workers typically have their next job lined up before they leave the one they’re at. They don’t need our help. (Plus, you’d probably be pretty mad if we were helping your competitors poach away your valuable talent!)
When you have a subscription to S/P2 Careers, you can filter the resume database by industry, geography, high school vs. post-secondary, and other criteria. View the resumes that fit your criteria, and reach out to the student candidates you’re interested in.
The candidate can respond, letting you know whether they are or are not interested in a career opportunity with your organization. If the candidate is interested, you receive the full resume with the candidate’s contact information. If the candidate is not interested, we protect the candidate’s privacy, but hey…there are thousands more candidates waiting to hear from you!
We add approximately 500 – 1,000 new candidates every single week, which could include a lot of candidates that fit your search criteria. You need to know when a new recruiting opportunity strikes!
That’s why we give you the ability to create “saved searches” and receive a daily or weekly email alert on new and updated candidates that fit your search criteria.
So if you have a daily alert set up for full-time, automotive service and collision repair candidates, in a 50 mile radius of your zip code, you’ll receive an alert on any days that we add a candidate that fits that criteria.
Alerts give you the ability to be at the front of the recruiting line for candidates! Sign up for S/P2 Careers now.

Absolutely! S/P2 Careers has students in both high school and post-secondary CTE programs. We have had multiple post-secondary CTE programs use S/P2 Careers to recruit from high school programs. To protect your privacy, your email, phone, and home address are hidden on your resume from employers when they are reviewing the resume database. Employers can contact you through the S/P2 Careers system, which sends you a message letting you know which business is interested in talking to you about career opportunities.
You decide if you are interested in career opportunities with that employer by clicking a link in the email you receive or on your dashboard within the S/P2 Careers system.
If you show that you are interested, the employer receives your full resume with your contact information, and the conversation can begin. If you state you are not interested, the employer does not receive your contact information and is unable to contact you for at least 6 months.
Nothing! It’s absolutely free for all students to post their resumes. Post your resume through your school’s S/P2 account in the “Land That Job! Building a Resume” course, or post it directly on S/P2 Careers.
